Today is the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday. Not a single comic I read made reference to it. I guess this does add weight to his statement. “In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.”

Incidentally, Pope Francis faces the fury of conservative Cardinals who would rather keep the old ways and power rather than being more like Jesus……
