On Saturday, there was a strip in which Red as a paperboy was throwing a newspaper and heard a SMASH! Luckily, it turned out that he had only broken an icicle. I commented, “The best laid plans of ice and men.” Tonight will be Burns Night and Scots around the world will celebrate the poetry of Rabbie Burns.
I wonder if Red’s family – the Macleans – celebrate Burns Night. I know that Red has mentioned Saint Patrick’s Day at least twice so the Macleans may be Irish-Americans rather than Scottish-Americans.
NO FOOD! Ha, my Rugby was a food machine, most Labs are. Scavengers they are. Always sniffing and then ingesting something. Then if he didn’t touch his dinner my wife, most concerned, would know that he was sick. Beef broth and rice usually clamed his stomach. Then it was just a matter of time before the fireworks started @ the other end. Rugby would do it over and over and never learned. Just like the Honey Badger. LOL
Well ….. Rover ….. what did you except …. if you hibernate …… the only thing that you can do is just “NOT” eat for the duration …….. Right …. Rover ….. Rover …. “ROVER” …….. “RIGHT” ….. :)

When you hibernate, you don’t eat.

Must be a pretty warm climate if that’s all the snow they have in mid-January.

Me thinks Rover will be hibernating that idea.
