The last Tarzan book I read, Tarzan and the Foreign Legion, is set during World War II. He’s in disguise as RAF officer John Clayton, and when the other characters in the book discover he’s Tarzan, one of them asks him if he’s ever seen a Tarzan movie. Tarzan says he had, and that he thought they were hilarious.
They also asked if he ever swung on vines, like they always show in the films. Tarzan said he never had, but he certainly would if he ever happened to find one going exactly in the direction he wanted to go.

There are not enough vines. She needs to check ride sharing. Some people will share a free ride if you share breakfast.

There’s one right above her. Did she bring a knife?
