Like many âcomedians,â Breathed stooped to using the worst possible language to get a cheap laugh. These were his early years of bathroom humor and sexual innuendo. Fortunately, he matured.
The worst part about Three Mile Island is that the reactorâs protective systems functioned exactly as they were supposed to. The operators didnât believe the indications and overrode the safety systems and human error directly caused the accident.
The other really funny part about Three Mile Island was that the total radiation released was less than that from the radon from a coal-fired plant for one day.
