Wow. OK. A lot is happening all at once. 1) Kat is now officially the best character in reboot HotC. 2) this is the best strip of the reboot to date. 3) deadbeat daddy now has such a bad reputation that even Heart’s friends are just straight up saying it out loud with no dancing around the subject. 4) I feel like it’s being telegraphed that deadbeat is definitely going to bail on this plan at the last minute. 5) “Sometimes”?
