The closest I have ever come to liking fish was a grilled halibut steak. It was very fresh and prepared by an expert, and Iâm told it was an extraordinary example of its kind, and to me it was just bland, watery beefsteak. But at least it didnât taste fishy.
Took me a long time to acquire a taste for seafood that wasnât a tuna sandwich. In adulthood, Iâve eaten more fish than land animals. Still not my go-to.
Yâall should come to New Orleans. Redfish Ponchartrain from Veneziaâs, seared and topped with a crab and crawfish dill sauce, or Trout Meuniere from Mandinaâs, or just the thin-sliced fried catfish at Middendorfâs.

I say it all the time; I donât like fish or seafood. As an adult I donât scream or throw a fit but I donât buy it or eat it.

I donât like fish either, which stinks cuz I live near Boston where there are lots of great fish places. I wish I did, but blah!
