The transition to EVs will be complete in 2045-2050. It is all about infrastructure. I envision highways lined with solar panels and charging stations every 50 miles or so. Better batteries in the car and at the charging stations.
It is likely that some kid who came to your door last October saying ‘Trick or Treat’ will figure out a better battery or better power source for electric vehicles in the next 20 years.
