Dog’s really are not colour blind, they just know that colour isn’t really that important. Something far too many humans have yet to learn.
Dogs aren’t really color blind, but they only have two types of cones in their retinas, rather than three that humans have. This shifts the spectrum that they see toward infrared, and makes distinguishing red/green less accurate than humans.
Rover knows Red and yellowish-grey but not green.
Try writing anything without the Letter “E.” Tough to do.
Bone, maybe? One of Rover’s favorite things!
Hehe… Dogs don’t see green… ??
Hmmmm…make it any color you wish
The kid’s show BLUEY is in all the colors that dogs can see. Dogs love the show.
Maybe you’d better skip the color part ….. for Rover’s benefit ….. and just use the letter and maybe …….. the dimensional aspects of the item …. ;)
