well, Zach, tic tacky is a very bad addiction that people get, so before tic tacky there was less stress overall. more interaction one-on-one personal interaction and even family talk with actual communication including listening. less division, hatred, and misinformation/interruptions from people who don’t think, so less stupidity in the world. people actually did things instead of pretending to through electronics and enjoyed those pleasures of life rather than living life through an app or “influencer” who is/was an idiot. in other words, people are now being controlled by devices held in their hands which constantly dumbs them down and manipulates their thought processes by people who control the app and want nothing more than to make everyone else slaves/sheeple who conform to the desires and bidding of the ones who control the app. Because they, the controllers, get rich by doing so. So freedom of speech and thought are restricted and limited while all the time lies are propagated that the lies and misinformation dispersed by the app aren’t lies and misinformation. I’m sure I missed a whole lot of other things, but overall it seems to be a disease of hatred and violence and I believe I haven’t caught it simply because I saw the results early on and immunized myself against it by not allowing the app on any of my devices. you can be cured, if you want, just get rid of the app and go back to discovering life before idiocy. it is a pretty nice life with way less fear of things. sometimes answers aren’t short or witty Zach, just informative and you get to choose to accept or move on from that answer. choose wisely, child.
I can go farther back than that Zack. Did you know we had rotary telephones and couldn’t carry your phone with you ? Some folks even had to share a party line. We had B/W televisions with only 3 channels. We had to change channels manually and there was no mute. Those were very dark days indeed
