Back in my desktop publishing days, my old boss Calixta used to kittyloaf on the desk in front of my big old CRT monitor. She was a big grrrl & took up the bottom 2-3" of the screen! I finally set the monitor on a stack of old phone books. I don’t know why she never thought of loafing on top of the monitor where it was warm; my kid bro’s boss Olmec napped on top of my nephew’s monitor all the time!
My sis worked from home for the last 10 years before she retired, & her then-boss Zoe’s favorite place to loaf was on the laptop keyboard! Sis got smart & set up her personal laptop next to her work one so Zoe would have her own “work station” with cat-friendly YouTube videos playing – much more interesting than all the dry boring words on sis’s machine.
