Game came down to three plays: McCaffery’s fumble (zero points for Niners); punt touching Niner’s foot and Niner punt returner trying to pick it up (as it was bouncing away) rather than falling on it (touchdown Chiefs); and, first missed PAT in history for Niner’s place kicker.

Reid should be holding the third trophy.
