Must be one heck of a story!

Ìts a really engrossing book!

That’s what happens when I read. I go away, my ears don’t hear. Don’t bug me.

I thought I had the only wife like that. I found a work around. Just open a new bag of chips. It’s like running a can opener for a cat.

I’d have lost big money betting that he couldn’t find the party favor collection. He must have kept a party hat separate in his own dresser drawer.

My mother, before she would ask me to do anything for her, would look to see where I was at in the book. If I was close to the end, she let me be (I tended to be a bit……surly), if I was in the middle, then she’d ask me.

Some people are always trying to get attention.

Now that he got her attention, he forgot why he wanted it.

A good book disappears in your hands, and takes your mind with it.

Notice how slow you close a good book as you pause the reading, until the next time.

I was like that with a book until I had children

Really good book…..

Just had my audiology test today. Looks like I’ll be getting hearing aids. Looking forward to getting back in on the conversation.
