I once got a call from a foreign man who claimed he was from the Social Security ! After I hung up on him, I called his bluff ! I redialed the number and he answered LOL
got a call like that the other day threatening me with jail if I didn’t pay the back taxes and penalties. I told them I’d be easy to find because I’d see them at the police station. CLICK!
I wouldn’t have answered the call at all except I was waiting for a return call from a customer service rep.
the IRS has got nuthin on NHK, japan’s government broadcast network – their surveillance is ruthless and all-pervasive. if you own a device that can receive a tv broadcast you’re required by law to pay the annual subscription. we don’t have a tv, haven’t for years, however we have had a loaner vehicle for about a week now following a recent accident and, lo and behold, we received a notice in the mail today from NHK about our annual subscription contract. because… the vehicle is equipped with a tv…

More importantly, after you pay the IRS can you afford to live with yourself?

I live with myself using the money I’d otherwise use to pay my taxes, of course!

That’s a question she should be asking the scam caller

One might ask you the same. “How do you live with yourself, scamming gullible people?”

considering this is most likely a scam, that should be her line!

The IRS will never call you. And never give you the option of paying your taxes using gift cards..
