Stewardesses! Ah yes, them was the good ol’ days!

Yep, I remember when 1984 was the distant future. And 2001? Don’t get me started! Why haven’t we reached Jupiter yet?!

jrbj, one never has to renew one’ s membership. Once a member always a member. But, that said, it’s always fun to relive what made you a member in the first place.

Why do I never see Joe’s “ILBTs” quoted? Of course, that’s more appropriate to Liberty Meadows or Pibgorn but I can see it fitting here.

I have not seen a stewardess - er, flight attendant - who has inspired me to picture her belly-dancing, since a flight on Pan American in 1967, when I was pampered, on a 6-hour flight from SFO to HNL, by a beautiful lady from Sweden. It’s been all downhill since then. SIGH.

Actually the Cabin Attendants haven’t changed much since 1967. It is just they are the same ones as 1967.

Grumpy Old Bear: that’s because they unionized and it became illegal to fire them when they got frumpy.

The only upside is that when your plane lands in the Hudson, it is a literal life-saver to have a very experienced, well-trained cabin crew.
