I would not want to see Howard’s thongs. I pity Lil.

Most of us would like to see a lot more coverage – even total coverage.

[Even so total that we’d not be able to recognize what’s being covered.]

The first time I saw a “thong” for “man-coverage” at around 5th grade football, I couldn’t help but think why would you want to concentrate the man-coverage to such a small place, with no possible escape? Any direct contact/hit would surely put you out of commission. I was absolutely right and it was proven to me over and over again during the next almost 20 years. A couple of times personally and quite a few times demonstrated by fellow players. At least the ones that were made out of metal/hardened plastic just made cookie-cutter marks around them without allowing them to be engaged or worse yet crushed! js

And there’s no Tight End. (But there is a Full Back. Whew! He could use some Right Guard!)
