It’s my understanding there have been over 400 covers of that song. Just yesterday I heard a very good one by Rhonda Vincent.

I thought Whitney Houston singing “I will always love you” was awful, then I heard the original by Dolly.

They asked for a pardon, and they got a Parton.

There was a story in the news many years ago about a guy who crashed his car and was stuck unfound in the driver’s seat for a couple days. His car stereo played Wake Me Up Before You Go Go continuously the whole time. RIP George Michael but that was a fate worse than death.
