My wife was very sick and I took my 2 boys to work on a Saturday so she could have some quiet. A childless coworker also decided to work that day. I put the boys on an extra computer in a vacant cubicle across from mine and they played pretty quietly, but the coworker decided that she had to give me parenting tips before we left.
I had an office mate who would stay an extra hour to work on his taxes and other personal finances. If he went straight home, his evening would immediately fill up with “Honey-Do”s.
