It is (nearly) impossible to silence creativity whilst reading.

Sirius has no attention span. Goldfish have longer memories. After all, they can be trained as well. There are training kits for fish basketball and soccer. We inadvertently trained the ones in the lab back in college by feeding them at the same part of the tank every day. One time I fed them at a different corner, and they went to their usual corner first. They were gulping but getting nothing, so the gulping rate slowed, and they looked around to find the food.

I love everything about this one.

And the cat heard the can opener in the other room.

Sirius, sit down and listen to the story quietly, and you may get a biscuit.

That’s possibly 2 ADD pets. Like me. Lookit her try to listen in the 2nd panel! I love that kitty!!!

Those sweet babies! Love how they sit, prance, express themselves! I have 2 senior cats who would definitely enjoy being read an entire book to. The younger 2, not so much. ; – )

What if the cows a male? don’t answer that.

Wait until you get to the dish ran away with the spoon part, Floof!

Cats and dogs usually like to hear their people talk. Reading out loud is good, so is talking on the phone with someone else. They just want to hear us. It would be really cute if Floof and Sirius could go to the library together, but it really wouldn’t work. The kids would love it!

I’m sure Chase’s owners read to him!
