Flaude definitely had the cartoonists’ touch. Look at that crazy, lovesick bear. Beautiful! He even labeled the television to eliminate confusion for elderly readers. The man was a legend.

It’s a bleeep shame that we can’t show tobacco in a simple, honest cartoon like this today without the thought police breathing down our necks.
Thanks for sharing this one from the archives. I never saw this comic before it was on-line but it looks like it was always a clever one.
