’ Traffic on the parkway walking path has slowed because of a bunched up group of Red Hat Ladies in a competition of comparing photos of their grand children on their phones.’ ‘And now, I’ll make up the weather…’
I am still adjusting to retirement (coming up on 9 month anniversary). i find I am still sleeping a lot, but have managed to squeeze in two vacations – one to Florida (two weeks) and one to see the eclipse (one week). Both involved a LOT of driving as we (my daughter and I) wanted to see EVERYTING we could as we hadn’t had a proper vacation in decades.
Ken Bass was a mainstay in local radio for over 30 years. It was quite a shock when he got “retired” early last year. It still doesn’t seem right to not hear his voice in the morning.
