We buy three different kinds of frozen fish and they all cook up nicely. Fries, not so much. Making our own potato wedges works better.

Fries in the air fryer are so much better than in a conventional oven. I don’t know why when one is just a smaller oven.

I love Trader Joe’s frozen battered halibut cooked in our air fryer. I’m celiac, so its gluten free batter is a great treat for me; but try any of their frozen breaded entrees if you don’t live near a good fish & chips takeout place.

I loved battering the fish and cutting the fries myself. Knowing what’s in them is part of the joy and having done it yourself is the better part. They always turned out nicely.

I recommend a toaster oven with an air fryer setting (which is just a convection setting), or using a convection oven.
