Tired of Canadian Bank CEO’s taking multimillion dollar bonuses … while the poorest (i.e. people on disability, like me, the elderly, and the like) are charged $16/mth to be able to use their accounts.
Should be those with balances over $3000 making payments.
I’m not sure I’d want to do business with a bank that says it can’t afford to give such a loan. Surely, they have the money on hand.
It would be better to state the truth: “Mr. Capp, it would be fiscally irresponsible of this bank to loan money to someone who has neither the means nor, obviously, the desire to ever repay the loan.”

I once worked for a bank taking loan applications. By law, we had to process all of them, even the ones that had no income. Wasted a lot of time.

Any Cappers doing anything interesting for Easter? I’m buying a few dozen eggs—and throwing them at people I don’t much like!
