I love this. I’m going to show my friend it. She had a fall 2 weeks ago when we dropped her home from the pub. She wasn’t drunk! It was dark and she lost her footing.

The floor keeps coming up to meet me. Tuck and roll doesn’t seem to work as well as it did in Junior High School.

Not a criticism of the humor in this, but its a message from the body that there could be a problem.. For me it was a medication that caused dizziness. There are also dangers from injuries, some like head trauma that might show delayed symptoms.

The sweet little old lady living across the street from me was returning from an eye doctor’s visit and fell getting out of her daughter’s car. The accident caused her to lose her eyesight.

I fell twice in 3 days, last week. Both times I landed on my butt. Trouble is both my knees are bad, soI needed help getting up.

As soon as I’m out of sight of whoever put the wrist band on I cut it off. (As we used to say in college “You can’t roll off the floor.”)

Rationalizing and making excuses are not wise.

My daughter does not like it when I do “unscheduled gravity checks.” Most of them have done no damage, but a few have – a broken foot, a broken shoulder and a cracked rib. So now I have to be really careful. Mostly I have to remember I am over 65.
