Four years ago we were just beginning the madness. We were supposed to be shut down for 2 weeks only. But, we didn’t expect the high numbers of deaths either. so many businesses shut down for good during Covid. Or some businesses are strictly online now. Remember this for the future because Covid will not be the last pandemic.
And, the realization finally dawns! Will be interesting to see lockdown all over again, through Amanda’s eyes. Did Dan work from home? Or did he still have to go to court? Amanda already works from home, so it shouldn’t affect her work much. Do they start getting things delivered? Inquiring minds want to know.
Just to ease people’s minds, I don’t plan on getting much into opinions and all of the machinations of the pandemic, but it will be a part of the comic just as anything else would be. It isn’t everything but it isn’t nothing. It affected my life in weird ways and in scary ways. If it is distressing to you to revisit the subject, I understand if you need to take a break from the comic. I gotta do what I gotta do, and you gotta do what you gotta do. :)

I still have my travel papers, issued in case there were highway checkpoints to prevent people moving about.

Just wait, Amanda. Pray that Door 204 survives. Many restaurants-coffee shops did not.

That’s when we did a lot of take-away and a lot more home cooking.
