good morning Tribe weren’t the bananas supposed to be breakfast? i occasionally do fruit breakfasts - usually when i forget to go shopping or when i’m feeling ill and feeling the need for extra vitamins. hi Carmy, JFri, marg & cleo won’t be staying as it’s all ready 3 am but i had to pop by.

quick note to Joy i’m sorry if you misunderstood the comment i made yesterday in response to yours about being 77 and beautiful. far from disagreeing, i was agreeing that people of all ages can be beautiful, and that what is inside a person (the real person) is what is more important - not merely the external appearance. there are many so-called beauties who are really quite unattractive beneath the surface - and you are certainly NOT one of those.

4:00 am and i can’t sleep. i took a look at your photos, Rmom and commented on a couple. i have got myself an account and have started loading my “2008 Canadian Drive By” photos, but i’ve just started it and there are 120 photos in it so it won’t be complete for a while. i will tell you all when i’m done so that those who care to (and have not looked at them on face book) can do so. for now, however, i will say “good morning” and head for bed.

Good morning all! Almost time to go off and take an exam. I wish I could say that I got a full night’s sleep, but I can’t. I was just falling asleep last night, and I heard a knocking at my door. Had know idea who it could be, so I decided to answer it. Turned out to be some drunk kid asking where his fraternity house might be. I politely (ish) told him that I didn’t know where it was. He then asked if I might help him look for it. I less politely told him no. I had a hard time getting back to sleep.

Rmom i have always been fascinated by cloud patterns and would love to see your weather photos. i loved the skies in the prairies when i drove out West in 2008, although they were mostly either cloudles or completely overcast. when i get the pictures i took on the Columbia Icefield loaded, you’ll see some clouds.

cleo - I’m glad you’re having a gorgeous day. I drove through some extremely dense fog getting home this morning, but the sun is out now, and the sky is blue. A good, stiff breeze, but I hear that will help blow the high clouds out that have been causing all the fog we’ve had lately. It just doesn’t seem like KS when it is calm and foggy in the evening.

Terry we have a living room that is 22’ high (or there abouts). They call it a great room because of it’s size.

Cleo, our living room has a cathedral ceiling with 2 skylights in it. Wolfangil just loves the high ceiling!

Driving to the nearest minor shopping town, we pass a lovely house with a full set of windows under a cathedral roof–must be about 15-20 feet high.

Our room has floor to ceiling window and gives us a magnificent view of the lake. But, we are having experts, notice what I said Dry, because I have no desire to paint that far off the ground. And Dry is right, we have to pay once a year to have them washed.

Cleo, our windows do not go all the way up the wall. From the outside, you can’t tell it’s a cathedral ceiling unless you notice the skylights on the roof.

Fortunately, I have sequestered them in the Big Top Happy Hour room where the strong man is on the other side of the only door. He has been instructed to let them party, but not to let them out. Fortunately, that is one of the few rooms that doesn’t have a canvas top. It is constructed so that they can party, but can not possibly disturb another member of the Tribe, except online.

I am a certified nutcase–I’m probably the only member of the tribe who actually lives in “an institution”! Ha ha ha. Just don’t laugh at me!

Just had a trojan trying to invade my computer, such as they were talking about at Overboard the past couple days. I kept hitting cancel, my Norton kicked in with the message they had blocked it and my computer was safe. DO NOT ACCEPT ANY OF THOSE SO CALLED SECURITY ALERTS!

Dry, I had that happen to me recently. I don’t remember if it was here on gocomics. That is a nasty bug, it was very persistent, but I was able to fight it off.
