LITTLE SISTER You are a bad example. I pack my gym clothes with all good intentions walk 3 blocks to the bus. Walking from the bus stop to the gym, I pass the supermarket with delightful smells coming from the bakery’ Not wanting to neglect my family, I am forced to sample the merchandise. By this time I have far too many groceries to fit in a gym locker. Out of love for my family, I skip the gym. Am I noble or what?
Good afternoon, Sojourner, Frankr, Rmom & Lewreader
Lewreader, when I walked to the gym back in Montreal, I had to walk by the supermarket to get to the gym. On weekdays I would go to the gym on the way to work. The supermarket wasn’t open.
However on week-ends I had the will-power to avoid the supermarket at least until returning from the gym.
I figure you could take care of your love of family after you’ve finished at the gym.
Sir Lew, maybe you could find a donut shop or something that is 2 - 5 miles away. You could walk there, have coffee and a donut/ dessert and then walk back. Exercise and junk food.
That seems like a good way to practice technique before you go up against the bag. Less chance of injury? Do they have a big yellow smiley face on the bag?
