My granddaughter has never seen a commercial. They only have paid app subscriptions. I didn’t have that luxury when my boys were young.
They raise the volume on commercials to catch your attention.
I love the old CRT TV. (Cathode ray tube, that is)
One of the things that I miss about VHS tapes is being able to pause recording in order to skip the commercials. I often kept 2 or 3 recorded shows for when the grandkids visited.
Learn to stream so you can cut the cord, and the ads.
