Stick it to the Man, Harley. Or Woman, as the case may be.

We’re all modern, here. The Man can be a Woman, or vice-versa the other way around.

She was using your rent to subsidize her diner.

When I lived at home, going to college and working part-time, she started charging me room and board. If I wanted a telephone, I had to pay for it. I bought a used car and paid the payments and insurance. [We’re talking late 70’s]. At first I thought mom was really mean, but she taught me great responsibilities. Looking back it was the best thing mom did for me.

My kids stayed rent free as long as they were in school and passing. They had chores that increased as they got older. I bought the food, you can cook it and or clean up afterwards.

Who is this and what happened to Daisy?

His Mom needed that rent money to cover the costs of a cleaning and disinfectant crew for his room. Ay, what a messy boy.

I knew a guy who said that the day he turned 18, he came home and found his packed suitcase outside the locked front door…

If you’re going to live at home, at least the decency to pitch in and help out around the house. Don’t be a lazy bum.
