No, not Amway; just a con-cat-enation of like-minded individuals. And Bruno has met the common fate; he finds himself immobilized by his better nature.
good morning one and all!and, StelBel, Citizen Grog, x_teck & Plods…(gadzooks! you guys got me doing it!)happy happu happy!!!what a cat tastrophy!: )@puppybreath i answered your statement in “dogs of kennel_c” yesterday late. i went to you tube looking for that old SNL gag on you-tube, but i could only find a lame attempt to copy it. if you had not seen it “back in the day” you missed a good one. : )
stel! I didn’t say USE sharpie markersI said THINK sharpie markers.the best way to remove sharpie marker marks from your laptop or monitor is to let it soak overnight in vinegar and baking soda
I seems to me that the folks in this town are not doing a very good job of spaying and neutering. That exponential increase in kittty lives is just the way it happens. And then there are too many to care for and,……….oh you know what happens.
I know all my good buddies here at Citizen Dog do the right thing, but oh so many others don’t. And it makes me cry to think about it. OK, now that I’ve cheered everybody up…….seeing this is a COMIC Strip…….sorry.
Keep thinking loving thoughts StelBel, Dry, Citizen Grog, Sugie, x-Tech, JP Steve, noicant, Plods, Nighthawks, Lonewolf, and anyone else who is a responsible pet owner!
((((Sugie)))) In answer to your question regarding my comment yesterday in FBorFW. Nope, never been to Buffalo. My comment regarding True Blue Buffalo Bills was because I misread the name of the person doing the posting which I replied to. His name is True Blue Buffalo Bulls. Oops! My mistake!
noicant I read your comment from yesterday in Dogs of Kennel C regarding a Saturday Evening Live skit and puppy uppers and doggy downers. I never saw the skit but now I understand your comment more fully. Although it was pretty good without that additional insight.
It reminds me of something that happened to me some years ago. Our Humane Society sponsored a “Hike with Your Dog for Health” event. We were to meet at the Humane Society with our dogs and then drive out to a pretty challenging hiking trail. I was the only female who turned up for the event. Everyone else was a very masculine type male and mostly with pick up trucks.
When we were ready to caravan out to the trail the guys all called their dogs and cries of “Load Up!”, “Get up there!” and similar commands filled the air.
I loaded my dogs into my Volvo Station Wagon by opening the door and calling, “Uppy Puppy”, Uppy Puppy!"whereupon a great deal of laughter burst forth and I was the recipient of a whole lot of good natured teasing. Even now, some of the people who were there, upon meeting me in a store or on the street, will greet me with "Uppy Puppy!
By the way, my dogs and I did keep up with the guys and in fact did better than some who were just sooooo out of shape.
(((Sugie))) I was born in Northern Illinois, moved to Arizona when I was 19 and then to where I am now in Northern California when I was 34.
I don’t miss the Illinois cold winters and snow up to the windowsills. I do miss the ethereal beauty of the moonlight on the snow though. Arizona was great and I do miss it in so many ways. Especially the way it used to be before all the commercialization and building projects and sub divisions ruined the deserts.
Where I’m at now is just beautiful and I can’t think of any other place I would rather be. By the way, talking about getting older……I can’t believe it but I’m 75! I used to think that was old when I was younger. But I’m still me and there is still a lot of livin’ to do. Think young. Have happy thoughts, be generous, be kind, do whatever good you can, love, yes, mostly have a lot of love in your heart.
I know that’s what you do too because it shows so much in all you say and the insights you give us into your thoughts and life. Bless you Sugie.
It was a gorgeous day here ( we deserve it after all the rain that we have been getting. We had lunch overlooking the bay and went browsing in a little artist community. I loved having the sun out
StelBel you are forgiven for that brief little episode with the smiley! :-D Actually, I miss them! Till I figure it out, I can live vicariously through yours!
