let’s hope the effect wanes off her brain for the next 5 years

I had a tetanus shot yesterday. First one since 3012.

I grew up hearing my mom’s horror story about one of her childhood playmates who died of tetanus back in the 1920’s. She always made sure I was up-to-date. As an adult I was a horsewoman and later a hobbyist gardener—both pursuits which are at risk for tetanus, so I get boostered regularly. I plan to live to 100 (20 more years to go) and don’t want my ambitions cut short by something easily preventable!

Gotta keep the storyline moving.

Guess who just became the official jar opener in the family.

Back in the day, I stepped on the proverbial rusty nail. Badly ever nothing me to happened.
