We were on a campout and I checked the weather radar. The area had been under drought for weeks. The storm coming was one of legend. The radar image was black in the middle because the programmers had never assigned a color for that storm severity. I yelled ABORT, we loaded up, and it started to rain. There was standing water on the highway by the time we left the park. It was still raining at noon the next day and two states had 8-12" of rain.
Did you hear about the weatherman who was always wrong on his predictions? He moved to another state and applied to another TV station. When asked why he moved,he replied “The weather didn’t agree with me!”
