I didn’t know there was an egg shortage in the mid-70’s. (I was very young at the time though, I couldn’t read newspapers.)

There are egg shortages every decade or so. There are usually short-lived. It’s a very resilient industry.

I remember this because we raised chickens and people started buying them from us.

Value is relative.

There’s a Twilight Zone episode where some gold thieves freeze themselves to hide out for seventy years and when they wake up their haul is totally worthless.

So why does he lisp?

Guess those large ones are really worth much.
