It is not contradictory to want Israel to be safe and also want the people of Gaza (and the West Bank, since Israel is now annexing land from there) to live in safety.
The Hamas attack on Israel was unjustifiable, but the Israeli response is unconscionable. That 2,000 people were brutally murdered / kidnapped is horrible. That more than 30,000 civilians have been bombed, shot, driven out of their destroyed homes and starved to death is on an entirely different level of immorality. It must stop.

As a staunch Catholic, I could really enjoy this comic. I doubt whether many Catholics in my abandoned hometown would even know what Eid-al-Fitr is.

While blaming Hamas is justifiable, allowing non-combatants to suffer is not.
