Hey, Cappers!

I’m not sure how many of you know but 2 weeks ago I met up with fellow Capper “A Common Tator” in my home town. We went for lunch and had a walk in a nearby park afterwards. The sun was shining all day but it was windy!

I just want to say what a beautiful human being he is. A true gentleman. I lost count how many hugs we shared. Sunday 7th April 2024 was the day. A day that will always be remembered for as long as I live. In fact I may even celebrate it every year in some small way. Yes. Yes, I like the idea of that.

Also, I’m giving blood next week and I will be dedicating it to Tator. Just in case anybody is wondering how many times I’ve donated, I’ve given blood 30+ times and I’m not even 30 yet! I started when I was 17.

I’m guessing Percy must be suffering from PTSD. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that’s triggered by a terrifying event — either experiencing it or witnessing it. Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares and severe anxiety, as well as uncontrollable thoughts about the event.

The one black spot on Percy’s record.

Nice of them to mention Percy again. Always liked him.

(I wasn’t aware that the strip had retired the Percy character. Did he get a final strip?)

I’m so happy there has finally been a reference to Percy The Rentman!
