The original poster Blob did kind of look like a dog lying down, but with the other end facing front, i.e. head behind the diner (railway car? bus? motor home?) and tail curving toward the horror-struck woman:
And the Blob slowly inched it’s way to the grocery store where it devoured all the kibble while the owner stood there and screamed in terror. His wife then calmed him down and told him to change his underwear.
Yesterday, I watched the original movie, The Blob , for the first time. So, of course, it reminded me of this poster that I had done 2 years ago.
Thanks to all who have left such nice comments on the 3 new posters that I recently did, and apologies for not getting back here to thank you all in a more timely fashion. I’ll try to do better. I’m hoping I can get at least one new poster done for next week.
As Rachel Maddow says, “Watch this space.” (Well, not necessarily this specific space on 10-year-old Ballard St, but you know…. the one on the Sherpa site!)
Gotta go into the hospital tomorrow. Probably going to get a couple of stents in my ticker. An angiogram is a fairly simple procedure (had one a while ago) and stents are a common thing, but a couple of thoughts would be appreciated.
Plods not sure how to do hugs on here, but that is what these are! Lots of them! ((((((((((( ))))))))))) You’ll be in my thoughts and prayers, my Friend!

My Sango looks kind of like that blob when we are trying to get him out the door before bedtime, so he does not wake us up at 5 AM.

What if The Blob is, in reality, a giant pool of basset slobber?

The “00” combined with the —> in that context… well; I’m married.

My daughter has two big dogs that could have posed for this. They take up the whole doorway or hall and become an immovable object.
