Thinking back to my school days, a summer girlfriend was normal. You got a summer job, met girls from other schools who worked with you and by the end of the summer, you went back to your own school and friends. The movie “Grease” was true in so many ways for so many kids.
Girlfriends are seasonal if you parents can afford to send you away for the summer. Ask your Dad to verify, if he can afford to send Mom away for the summer. :)
