You maxed out there Max!

I’ve often wondered why I was given my name ………..

Good one, Max!

Fancy.

But calling him correctly presented a problem.

We had an Irish wolfhound named Max – for maximum puppy!

we had a dog named after a Jim Croce character, Uncle Meatball Pelligini, we called him Meat for short. One day some kids were messing around by our garage and the dog headed toward them, I called out Meat to get him to stop but they must have thought I was telling him they were meat for him because I’ve never seen kids take off so fast.

He is certainly Lola’s dog.

I had a cat whose full Name was Horatius Centurus, Guardian of the Empire, AKA The Rat Cat.

I had a English Setter whose registered name was Bolivar Shagnasty, he answered to Shag and was the finest bird dog I ever owned.
