I have many happy memories of taking our dogs for a run. I always teased them by saying “do you” “do you want to” then “go for a run?” Then they would explode with happiness and we were off to enjoy the paths in the woods or the pond on the mountain!
My cat will be asleep on my bed. His eyes are closed, but his ears are wide open and knows the sound of me opening the rubbermaid container of dry food.
I take Gypsy for a ride almost everyday to an island down the road from our house. We look for hogs, she’s love talking to them, but I keep a finger on the window control just in case. She never has tried to get out. Then we go to the end of the road cause there’s hogs there sometime and a friend’s huge property. We’ve seen hogs there too and the owner’s dog out by the porch. The dogs like to converse!

Our pups would key on the word “go” or the sound of car keys. We had to be cautious or we’d wind up driving them around the block a time or two.
