One of the colleges where I taught was attempting to educate students who had been failed by bad public high schools in the area. Had a student claim he would get A’s as long as he didn’t start any fights.
I graduated HS in 2006. They were still mailing our report cards back then. I gotta assume that nowadays most public schools most likely now email report cards to that parent/guardian
