About two weeks ago my computer flipped out and I wound up reinstalling the OS. This not hard since I use a Linux product and had a recent backup. For any one who doesn’t use Linux but uses Firefox with windows, go into preferences>privacy and security>history>clear history when Firefox closes>history and set cache to clear. I ran my anti-virus and kept finding malware in the cache in Firefox. Since having it clear at close, no more were found.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting the same results. Believers of Murphy’s laws know that there are an infinite number of things that can go wrong that you won’t be prepared for.
Computers are clearly the work of the Devil. What, haven’t you ever seen someone at a computer keyboard taking the Lord’s name in vain? All the time.
This isn’t insanity. From Wikipedia: “In contemporary usage, the term insanity is an informal, un-scientific term denoting “mental instability”; thus, the term insanity defense is the legal definition of mental instability. In medicine, the general term psychosis is used to include the presence of delusions and/or hallucinations in a patient;1 and psychiatric illness is “psychopathology”, not mental insanity.2. Using the idea that insanity involves repetition and expectation misses the real dimensions of insanity, or rather, psychosis. It is a terrible disease.
A long time ago, my personal modification of that definition of insanity became this: “Anyone who believes that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results has never used a personal computer.”

I thought doing the same thing over and over again was “Practice makes perfect.”

The definition used here for insanity is actually for a personality disorder like narcissism etc.
