Just like my snobby upper 10% sister in law whom we have cut off all contact with because of a dispute over a house my husband and his brother inherited in common. It is now a court case, and so we will never ever talk to either one again.
When it came time to teach us how to drive, my dad’s rule was “wait til you’re 17”. He did that with all of us. There were 5 boys, 3 of us were all spaced out at 2 years apart (so when my oldest brother turned 17, I was 15, next one was 13), then the next brother was 5, and the last brother was born a year later. Lots of driving lessons! My oldest brother and I were both taught on manual transmissions!
