I wear jeans just about every day. They are elastic waist – no zipper. They have generous pockets and 4 of them. I hate carrying a purse and don’t need to with them.
Cell phone, small bottle of hand sanitizer, pill box, and Space pen in left front pocket. Wallet, small spray bottle of alcohol (had bed bugs -good against them), keys if not wearing a jacket for weather, in front right pocket. Rear pockets usually empty, but can hold shopping bags *fee for same at stores in our state) or Covid 2 masks (husband & me) or whatever else we need.

Pockets are as necessary for me as the air I breathe. Elastic has its’ moments.. tho not in my clothing.
