How can any human stop a puppy or dog from not going by their instincts. It’s like telling a human not to go to the toilet when they’re on a water pill.
She’s right, of course—from the dog’s perspective, they aren’t out there just to walk around on a predetermined path, they’re out there to explore and experience the world a little more directly than they often get to from the confines of their homes. Why do you think they so often get so excited at the idea of getting to do it? ;)
