Camping?

Not with those knees of mine.

I still like camping, but my wife can’t stand it. So we don’t.

As soon as you leave, we will be moving to Marrakesh! Good luck Son!

I prefer the kind of camping where I go to the cabin and sleep in a bed.

I’ll give him until he realizes: A – no cellphone coverage, B – no place to charge it when the battery is drained, before he gets 100 feet into the woods.

Someday he might though. Never too early to know the differences. I just buy them at the grocery store……

Well, not a couple of months. At age 16 I did 33 days, solo. After I left high school I did two years working for the Forest Service. I lived in spike camps during the week and never left the ranger station on weekends.

Yep…enjoy those moments……..

Hand him a copy of My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George. Lots of good advice there.

I’m surprised Peg didn’t offer to pack him a lunch.
