You know, maybe if he loosened up, took off his jacket and tie, he wouldn’t be so grumpy.

I wonder what she will be more excited by? The film or a golf trophy?

Ahh! The old leaving of a note and no texting, how old school.

Can’t he occupy himself until she gets home? How old is this strip?

I am with Mr. Dear on this one. This is a pretty good reason to be not amused, to be heavily disappointed. I feel sorry for him. For him it is something big to win that prize. His lads probably already know ‘cause he is often seen with Jock’s and Jorky’s dads on the golf course.

To celebrate Mr. Dears triumph: today we seem to have a marksmen’s festival in our village. They alternate between playing brass band and shooting something on the “Brink” (the roundish center of the village). Some of them people are heavily decorated, they have difficulties to walk. Tsk. I enjoy the music, they play pretty good!, but have absolutely no sense for everything else.

Mr Dear recently let his boss, Mr Wainwright, win at golf. Today, he won a cup at golf but his joy has been dampened.

Hope she’s seeing a double bill. Listening to hubby’s golf prowess is not thrilling stuff. I have been a 19th hole widow.
