I think I have to agree with others that it is wonderful Meemaw would take Pasquale to see his comic book hereo BUT she should have let Rose and Jimbo know that she was taking him out of town and then it would have worked out that Jimbo would have said that is where he wanted to take Pasquale and they could have all gone together. When we stayed with Gram when we were younger and she decided to take us somewhere that she hadn’t previously mentioned to our parents she had to let them know, didn’t happen often because Gram usually only went out to go to the store or go to Bingo in the evenings and it was a given that we would go with her, an emergency can come up on either end without any warning and parents should know where their children are at all times, especially if they are young like Pasquale.
