My parents gave us swimming lessons I learned to swim under water before I learned to swim on top.
When I was in school we had to write a piece about “how to do something”. I wrote on keeping a child from drowning. That child did not have disposable diapers (did not exist yet) but did have layer after layer of clothing and floating devices.
