My wife is much more supportive than she is. A few months back, at 58, even with no cartilage in my right shoulder, still recovering from cancer surgery a year before and my knees going, I took up MMA training. Found a gym nearby that has a good record of turning out pro fighters (didn’t know about turning out the pro fighters at the time but they had the old school boxing gym feel to it that I wanted) and joined. One black eye so far and lots of bruises on my legs, arms and torso. However… I feel better than I have since cancer.
