For me, if the water is too warm to be refreshing, it’s too hot to even be outside. They might be better off in a back yard pool freshly filled from the hose, or better yet, just stay in and watch TV.
When water is running down my “crack” it’s too hot for this old man. I surrender to AC and ice cold Coke and Peanuts. Un Huh. Mamma told me there would be days like this. Just not so many in a row like Cornstalks. >
We have been going to Hilton Head every year for over 30 years and we learned not to go in August. Ocean water is just too hot to go in. No breeze on the beach. The heat does sap all the energy out of you.

When the water temperature in the swimming pool is in the mid nineties, it’s too hot to go swimming. Welcome to Arizona.

In that case just go soak your head. (That’s what I tell my family I’m going to do when I decide to go in the pool)

If Hurricane’s not going for a swim, she won’t have to think about what to do with her hat.
