This one originally appeared as a one-off, months after we’d stopped doing new dailies. In fact, we weren’t even doing reruns yet. But I was moved by the loss of a talent so young, who should have had so much to look forward to. So I dropped this in as a surprise. It’s a couple of days off the anniversary this year, but close.
I think my favorite character was Ernesto, but Sophie made more sense as a friend for Maria, and she was kinda the star anyway.
When i first saw Cul De Sac, I thought Peter was the main character, but Alice is definitely the star and the most endearing character. And I must say that these two are definitely birds of a feather …
